Cyril Berger is one of Serpentine Ventures’ external legal counsels. At Serpentine Ventures, Cyril oversees and ensures that legal matters are taken care of smoothly and accurately.

Cyril holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Zurich. Already during his studies, he was interested in business- and technology-related legal matters. After completing his legal internship at a commercial law firm, Cyril was working as senior counsel for a large Swiss ICT company in the main areas of contract law, IT law, telecommunications law, and data data protection law.

Since 2020, Cyril is the CEO of Code Law Ltd, a legal service company within the Swiss Startup Group. The main focus is on ICT law and technology-related legal matters while at the same time covering all other legal needs that startups and entrepreneuers face in their ordinary course of business. Amongst others, this includes corporate law, contract law, IT law, intellectual property law, and data protection law. As part of his work for Code Law Ltd, Cyril also has the role of an external legal counsel for other companies of the Swiss Startup Group including Serpentine Ventures.
